High School Cosmetology Program

Brighton Institute of Cosmetology offers an extensive 1-2 year high school program for aspiring cosmetologists.

Junior and Senior students from Brighton, Hartland, Howell, Pinckney & Fowlerville high schools work with the LESA/CTE are encouraged to reach out to your high school counselors on applying.

This program is exclusively offered through the CTE of Livingston County. If you have any questions or need more information on how you can apply, please contact us.

JUNIOR STUDENTS

Junior students beginning the program will complete the course within 2 years. They will attend part-time during the school year and are required to attend full-time during the summer and back to part-time starting their senior year to ensure timely completion.

SENIOR STUDENTS

Senior students starting the program will complete the program in about 16 months. While attending part-time during the school year, students will become full-time once they have finished their last day of high school. They will remain full-time until the end of the course to complete as required.
